Getting Started with Poly Lens Studio

Create an Account

To begin, visit lens.poly.com and sign up using your email or existing Microsoft, Google, or Apple account.

After registration, you’ll receive a welcome email with instructions to get started.

Set Up Single Sign-On (SSO)

Poly Lens supports SSO integration with providers like Microsoft, Google, and Apple. For Microsoft SSO, administrative permissions are required to grant access to your Office 365 tenant. This setup allows seamless sign-in and profile access across your organisation.

Organise Your Device Portfolio

Before adding devices, establish a structured naming convention for Sites and Rooms:

  • Sites: Represent physical office locations or buildings.
  • Rooms: Denote individual meeting spaces within Sites.

Doing this allows for easier device management and analytics.

Adding and Managing Devices

Onboard Devices

Once your structure is in place, you can add devices to Poly Lens. Assign each device to its corresponding Room to maintain organisation and streamline management.

Configure Device Settings

Access individual device settings to adjust configurations such as audio, video, network, and system preferences. These settings can be tailored to meet specific organisational needs.

Monitor Device Status

Utilise the dashboard to view real-time device status, receive alerts, and monitor usage metrics. The Device Actions page highlights devices requiring attention, such as those offline or needing software updates.
